I have heard of the Blue Zones work by Dan Buettner over the years as a wellness professional and educator. His research is based on studying happiness for 35 years from around the world. He discovered how certain cultures cultivate joy, physical health and increase their over all well being & longevity. Wellness Waking Groups
Want to meet others in your area and get moving more! Let's get moving together! With the increase of crime, many women don't feel comfortable walking alone. My idea is to put our community back together, meeting Tuesdays or Thursdays evenings 6:30pm. This would be for regular paced walking, not power walking unless a group forms that wants specifically just that. Location will be determined once group(s) is formed. are types of breathing exercises that can bring us back to our natural state of being, increase concentration and focus and help us relax quickly and it is proven to be the easiest and most effective stress management tool. When learned properly it can be very useful for our daily lives. The problem is many try it, but don't know how to create it as a habit. Because we breath every day we often have a hard time adding this wonderful skill into our lives.
Breath work sessions educate participants on how to do breathing techniques effectively so they can incorporate it daily and receive the benefits immediately.
